TestSTAT offers assistance in state-of-the art pain management & addiction risk assessment
TestSTAT has created the Pain Management Evaluation (PME) computer test to help doctors and other health care professionals (HCPs) understand the nature and type of your pain. We also assess your health and wellness status, along with your interests various types of treatment. This is used by your health care professional to design a safe and effective treatment program for you.
Reduce Pain Medication Risk
In studies of patients treated with opioids who had no prior history of abuse or addiction, the rate of addiction was 5%, or about 1/20 pain patients! The PME can assess and warn you about risk factors for addiction.
Treatment Planning
A good pain treatment program for pain is motivating (i.e., one you stick with). It includes an assessment of your interests, lifestyle and health. It looks at was has and hasn’t worked for you in the past, and what might help in the future.
The resulting treatment plan should take into account all aspects of a person, not just your "pain." We help you assess and develop "alternative" treatment options like alternative and complementary treatments for pain.
